Ruger comes from a great pedigree out of Hunter’s Goldstrike Golden Retrievers. Both of Ruger’s parents have HRCH titles; his dam “HRCH Steep Hill’s Remington of Goldstrike” comes out of “FC AFC Steeple Hill Ranger OS FDHF” and his sire “HRCH UH Heldts Mr Strike 3 Your Out” is in the HRC 1500 Point Club. Ruger has several seasons of hunting under his belt now and has impressed me every step of the way with his train-ability, drive, stamina, natural scenting ability and especially his blind manners. He’s a very patient dog, that is very steady and always has his eyes to the sky in blind. Ruger is a natural, he enjoys hunting both waterfowl & upland birds. Ruger earned his HRC Upland Hunter Title on 3/20/2016, his HRC Hunting Retriever Title on 6/18/2016, and his HRC Hunting Retriever Championship Title on 9/17/2016, earning 3 titles in 6 months.  Ruger earned his Master Hunter Title on 9/02/2018, passing 6 consecutive hunt tests to earn his title. Ruger and I are members and train with Fox Valley Retrieever Club .  Ruger has also passed all his health clearances (OFA Clearances).
